Deja J. Bowens

Deja J. Bowens is an award winning professional actor and the founder of A Magna Production, with a career rooted in a lifelong passion for the arts. Beginning her journey on stage at the age of 3 years old, Deja honed her craft through training at renowned institutions such as Lewisham Youth Theatre (LYT), D&B, the BRIT School, IDSA, and Mountview, where she earned her BA Honours in Acting. Known for her naturalistic, instinctual, and honest approach to performance, Deja has built a versatile career, bringing depth and authenticity to each role.

Her professional credits span across theatre and screen, including powerful performances in Marys Seacole at the Donmar Warehouse, Champion on BBC/Netflix, Queens of Sheba on its U.S. tour with Nouveau Riche, and more. Deja’s work has earned her significant recognition, including a MOBO Award nomination and a recent winner of a Royal Television Society Midlands Award for acting performance.

Deja’s passion extends beyond her own career, as she is deeply committed to inspiring and nurturing the next generation of actors.
